VISUAL NOTES
TERRACOTTA
A visual study of Marrakesh through colour, surface and everyday detail. Terracotta walls, glazed ceramics, woven textiles, market displays and fading paint form a palette shaped by heat, craft and place. The series follows the repeated colours and textures that give the city its distinctive visual rhythm.
EVERYDAY ENCOUNTERS
A collection of ordinary moments noticed through light, form and composition. Architecture, interiors, shadow and natural forms are photographed as they are encountered, drawing attention to details that might otherwise pass unnoticed. The series is less about a single place than the habit of looking closely.
BORROWED ORNAMENTS
A study of ornament appearing within contemporary Dubai - curling lines, decorative lamps, patterned surfaces and historicist details set against glass, skyline and modern architecture. The series follows the way older European visual codes are borrowed, repeated and recontextualised across the city.
