Aster & Tide

A self-initiated consumer brand project exploring how a contemporary body and home-care brand could build a distinctive visual world around scent, place and sensory experience.

Building a

sensory world

Aster & Tide was developed around the sensory contrasts of life in a hot climate: heat and coolness, dry surfaces and water, harsh sunlight and shaded interiors. Rather than relying on conventional ideas of luxury, I built the visual language around tactile materials, natural light, restrained typography and products visualised within lived-in rituals.
